NFL in Florence?

Does anyone know of someplace in Firenze where a diehard football fan can catch the NFL playoff games broadcast live? (What an inopportune time to travel, if there ever was such a thing...)

Let me get this straight. You are in Florence, Italy and you worried about watching American Football!!?

Methinks you should consider remaing home.

Topping for skavatore because I feel his pain.

mungirx, another reason why we love America more than Florence. ((b))

The Sky Italia network (Sky 2 channel) plays NFL games, although they are usually broadcasts from a few days before. For example, the Green Bay/Minnesota game played on Sunday will broadcast this Friday, according to the schedule.

There is practically no chance of watching it in bar, as the games are usually on at 7 & 8 in the morning...

Sorry about that.

I read on another thread about a sports bar in Rome where one could watch the games live. With the Saturday games beginning at 4:30 pm, that would be 10:30 pm Italy time - you probably could only be able to see the first game before the place would close.

The games start at 1:00pm on Sunday (7pm Italy time) so you would be able to see both games.

There should be some "American style" hotels that would be able to pick up a satellite feed -- one would think.

Topping. ((b))

I'll be in London on Super Bowl weekend and the game will be in the middle of the night. We shall have to see if it is available, but whether I could stay awake for it would be another matter entirely (and it would likely depend on which two teams end up playing.) I'm thinking that there may be some updates on CNN International or something like that, if the game itself isn't available on the hotel TV.

Mungirx, Methinks you should refrain from making judgement on others. Nonsupportive, noninformative, purely flame posts like yours are not needed.
