Next French transport strike 12 December
It isn't completely confirmed yet, but it is highly likely that the next French transportation strike will take place on December 12th -- SNCF and Paris metro would be involved.
It is only supposed to last 24 hours and is in protest of sluggish negotiations with management after the last strike.

Thanks for this heads up; I looked again and it looks like the RATP (metro, buses and RERs) strike will be on Wednesday 12 December and the SNCF (train and RER C) will be on 13 December.
But as we know, once the strikes start they all blur together...

DH and I were in a restaurant in Paris on Saturday night (La Cave Gourmand restaurant Marc Singer in the 19th - go there!!!) and the chef/owner Marc said the 20th for the next round of strikes. Only passing on what I was told......
