ared, where are you staying?

we'll be near the pantheon. i think i recall hearing that the pope reads from st. peters square that evening, so maybe we'll head over to see that before dinner.

A small group of us will be in Rome New Year's eve also. Our Hotel (Portoghesi) said they will have a list by 12/15. If anyone wants to get in touch, [email protected]

Hi everyone, my husband and I will also be ringing in the New Year in Rome. We're staying near the Santa Maria Maggiore church and also have no idea of where to go. We arrive the morning of the 31st, so no time to plan after we arrive either!

I'm going to ask our innkeeper if he has any suggestions and will pass along whatever I hear via this forum. I also look forward to hearing what others find out as well!
