The question came up yesterday if Volare shuttle is up and running despite Volare Air shut down - I had emailed the shuttle service yesterday and seems at least the shuttle part is in business.

The cost of the transfer is only 12 euros. The Shuttle service goes
everywhere in Rome Centre. You should book the transfer at least 48 hours
before your flight.

Just logged back on to the site and it appears they are indeed down & out.

I will check in again before my trip in Feb. but I think it's safe to say Volare shuttle is not up and running.

I agree with the above post, I have tried to log into their website www.volareweb.com and it says that the service is momentarily suspended... doesn't sound that promising IMO, but maybe it is just a momentary glitch.

I don't know about the volare shuttle sevice but I have booked tickets for s service form Ciampino airport that is called terravision. They also run out of FCO. It cost us 27 euros for two adults for a round trip ticket into Rome from the airport. The website is www.terravision.com/it It will cost more from FCO because it is farther from ROme than Ciampino.

I have been using airportshuttle.it and they are not much more--perhaps 30E for 2.

I was there last week and didn't see anything about the shuttle. We just ended up using the Leonardo Express and took a cab back to the airport at the end of our trip.
