Remember fodorites, if you don't follow the forum rules, "the other kids will laugh at you!"

Too funny flygirl. Thanks!

cigalechanta Oct 8th, 2004 05:15 PM

yes, lol, the creator was peeking in at fodors.

Patrick Oct 8th, 2004 05:34 PM

Wasn't this already mentioned in a sticky?

cigalechanta Oct 8th, 2004 05:37 PM

What's a sticky?

Scarlett Oct 8th, 2004 05:40 PM

sticky keyboard?

Rules Shmules says I ~

uhoh_busted Oct 8th, 2004 05:53 PM

Sticky? Try the search box... :) I loved those rules! ha ha ha ha!

Scarlett Oct 8th, 2004 06:01 PM

OK, because uh oh busted thought it was funny, I went back and sat through the whole thing.
I get Stickys now :)

I still say Rules Schmules :)

cigalechanta Oct 8th, 2004 06:04 PM

I don't get what's a sticky, scarlett?

Scarlett Oct 8th, 2004 06:16 PM

On these pages, those little bitty red words that say rules at the top of the column.

Don't ask me why they are called sticky:(

Patrick Oct 8th, 2004 06:36 PM

Like "post it" notes -- "stickys".

Clifton Oct 8th, 2004 08:27 PM

Made me laugh too. Thanks for that!

Fodors doesn't really do stickies, but Lonely Planet does. Certain threads that stay at the top of each forum. Their Eastern Europe forum has a trans-Siberian railroad thread that always stays at the top. Popular question there I guess. Interesting how different the two forums are. Never comes up here at all.

A thank you to flygirl, for a laugh to end the night, as a child calls.

Well, some of us remember why our parents/grandparents left, and have no interest in going back.

In addition, this link will explain why I have even less interest.

Fair enough. Doubt it applies to man here, but it also doesn't really matter that much.

Barbara Oct 9th, 2004 11:00 AM

flygirl, very funny. Thanks for posting that link.

The sticky would be sticky bun recipes, don't you think?

Giovanna Oct 9th, 2004 11:12 AM

Many a truth is said in jest, no?

Very funny, but words to live by!
