I was almost ripped off by teens in a similar way while in Paris. No flashing, but a newspaper was placed in front of my face while using an ATM machine. When the kid put the newspaper in front of me he also pushed the button to despense 300E. I pushed him away and at the same time his acomplance grabbed the money and put it between a folded newspaper as she walked away. I immediately realized what had happened and grabbed her arm and the folded newspaper and my money. I now use the ATM machines inside banks whenever possible.
