New hotels in Paris

We're looking for a new hotel in Paris. We usually stay at Le Bristol, but we hear there may be another new one open now - our trip will take place in october, 2000.

The George V just reopened after extensive renovations and being taken over by the Four Seasons. I've seen many a few magazine articles about it and it looks lovely. The Meurice is undergoing extensive renovations and may be open by the fall. My travel agent (who is very upscale in her tastes) raves about the Lancaster.

I just got back from the four seaons and i can not think of a nicer hotel. The psa is beautiful, the rooms are the best in Paris, and i have stayed in many hotels in Paris amd the food is the best. I have stayed ar le Bristol. I don't really like it and i romise that you will love the new George V (Four Seasons). Have a great time!

I will be staying at Hotel le Lavoisier in the 8th in early June. It's new and has gotten good reviews (Travel and Leisure last October or so) but I haven't yet been there!
