New, handy bus-route in London
From Covent Garden (just opposite the Duchess Theatre, at the junction with Aldwych) a new, single-decker, wheelchair-accessible bus will take you along all the sights of the South Bank. So you can go to Waterloo, The Eye, South Bank, Tower Bridge, Tate Modern, London Bridge and the new Greater London Assembly buildings. Can't remember the last time a new route in the centre of town started and it is very handy for tourists, leaving from and terminating as it does at Covent Garden.

Thanks for the info Nigel.
You must have insider info. I spent the last half hour searching londontransport for info and came up blank.
I am still shaking my head over a database route planner that wants a user to input a bus number to determine where it goes, rather than input source and destination to determine bus number.
Anyway, thanks. I am sure it will turn up on their maps soon enough.

Brezzy - the new bus route has the number "RV1" (I know it's not easy to remember) You can't miss it - they have pictures of the London Eye and Tower Bridge on the outside
