New carnet tickets t-tickets in French Metro

Hi, I would like to confirm the following,

t-tickets replace the old ticket that we used to buy in carnets?

With a ticket called Louvre I can ride the metro and get in without making a line?

Chldren 9 years old would pay half a fare? THey say 4-9 that means that being 9 is ok.

Any other thing I should know. Going to Paris fairly soon.

You can still buy carnets (11.10&euro. The new ticket has the advantage of being good for bus transfers for up to 90 minutes after first boarding a bus. However, like the old ticket, you cannot use a single ticket to transfer between bus and Metro.

Yes, children under ten can buy a half-price carnet for 5.55€.

A single ticket costs 1.50€.

When you say "with a ticket called Louvre," do you mean the Paris Museum Pass? The pass will allow you to skip the line at the entrance to any covered museum, but it is not good for transportation.

Louvre pass + 2 metro/bus tickets, or the Louvre pass only:

nope. Haven't been to the Louvre last few times... I also usually time our visits to coincide with 5-zone Carte Orange b/c H. likes to golf sometimes, or we take a couple of day-trips. so, no benefit to me.

Travelnut: I'm sort of in the same boat. Been there, done that. I was trying to figure out if I'd recommend this to anyone.
