New Business Class Airline

Has anyone flown the new Business Class airline from New York to Paris .... Le Compagnie? Wondering what your experience was. Thinking about flying Le Compagnie to Paris from US and back.

The business class seats do not look very comfortable. They look like PE seats, they do not recline into a flat bed. I can't sleep in those cradle style seats. 757 across the atlantic is not my ideal scenario.

Not having to scrunch in tourist class would be terrific. Current price looks like a good value. I think I'm pretty close to having enough Delta miles for an upgrade though, so that would still be my first choice.

You should also consider Open Skies, a boutique airline operated by BA. The intimate 757s are half biz and half premium economy. Flies from JFK and EWR to/from Orly, which saves a lot of time. Biz seats are fully lie flat, unlike La Compagnie, and fares are in the same range. I flew ORY-JFK last year using BA miles and it was an excellent experience...you get an iPad for watching films and the flight was shorter because there was less runway time at ORY than CDG. Premium economy looked decent as well.
