Nevil's report is a total hoot. Everyone in my family has read it, and it was the #1 topic at our dinner table tonight. I love his sense of discovery and his ability to communicate his delight. Agree that it's at the top of the Fodor trip report list and sure to become a forum classic.

I think the other word (besides the phrase infectious enthusiasm!!) to describe his trip report is FRESH! Fresh outlook, fresh views!!! Sehr wunderbar!!!!!! : )
