Just when it seemed impossible, they've announced a limited version of the Metro del Mare will be operating after all.

We saw that this was operating from Beverello while buying tickets for Ischia, and what a lovely island that is. Eating seafood on the terrrace at Coco's by the causeway in Ischia Ponte = heaven.

I've not checked this against the official timetable, but it's supposedly a simplified version of that - as circulated to hoteliers etc this week by GESCAB, the consortium of local ferry and hydrofoil operators....
