I am new at this. You two look like you are experts in the area of Italy. I have posted two or three questions. But I did it wrong. Will you please click on my name chevere and look at the questions I have on Cinque Terra? Please. I have to make a decision, quickly. Thanks I have been reading your comments and you two are very knowledgeable.

I'm not either of them either, but I can tell you this. There are five towns of the Cinque Terra, the two towns you mentioned in your hotel post are not among them. If you're looking to stay in the Cinque Terre to enjoy its rustic charms and hiking potential, then you may want to look at staying within it, rather than just at a nearby city so you can travel to it. That's just my opinion of course.

After reading hours of posts on this website, I realize that there are many experts on Italy.I am sorry to all of you experts....my bad. I also realize that the Sestri Levante is not part of the Cinque Terre...it is what they call the sixth Cinque Terre. This castle I am refering to is in Sestri Levante. It seems beautiful and unbelievable.Three Castle like buildings surrounded by a beautiful park. . The Castle I am talking about is called the Grand Hotel Dei Castelli.
The Excelsior in Rapallo also seems fabulous.
