In New Hampshire's White Mountains, the summit weather forecast at the Appalachian Mountain Club Center is invariably "In and out of the clouds." The same the world over.

I am inclined to think that the majority of tourists from the surrounding European countres who come to Switherland in the summer do so for mountain hiking.

Getting back to this week-end's weather, I watched the forecast on SF1 tonight. They did call for storms tomorrow afternoon in the BO and also on Sunday, but it shouldn't be stormy all day. Saturday looks mostly ok if not sunny.

Actually, it's supposed to be much stormier in Zermatt than in Wengen tomorrow, so be glad you're not starting your week-end in Zermatt.

WeisserTee an others - thanks for your comments. We are just finishing out three days in BO and the weather turned out to be great. A little cloudy and some drops of rain here and there, but otherwise lovely. In fact, my wife and I are sunburnt from our day hiking around First today. Of course, we are now heading to Zermatt, where the sure forecasts start all over again! Haha! If we do get rained on there, it will be spa treatments or a trip to Bern! Thanks all!
