george, My girlfriend and I went to both Seville and Nerja in late September/early October in 2000. Both of these locations were worthwhile. Nerja, being on the Mediteranean, was very beautiful and warm (mid 70s). There were lots of places to eat and drink. The caves near there were real cool too. Seville was the better place to be for going out to eat and drink. Tons of choices. You will be happy with both places. One thing you might consider if you day trip to Nerja and that is getting there via Rhonda. A real beautiful town built around a hugh gorge. Might be alot for one day trip though. You will have a good time. Tom
George, tj is right; it would be difficult to say which is best as they are two different settings. They are too far apart for a day trip but you could get to Nerja from Ronda in a couple of hours, assuming you will have a car.

Sevilla is a city with lots more to offer in the way of nightlife and Nerja ( my favorite place in Europe) is laid back. It has a lot of good restaurants but I don't know about nightlife other than visiting pubs and conversing with English speakers, which we love to do. We have met so many interesting people that way.

We have been in Nerja in October and there were people on the beach. The weather is almost always pleasant but the water may be cold.

I think six days in either place may be too much for you so perhaps you would consider staying both places.

Whatever you decide, happy honeymoon and happy travels.

Seville all the way. Great city, lots to see and fun to roam. We stayed at the Alfonso XIII and thought the old Moorish architecture was great and the rooms were large. Very posh and had a nice pool. We had a nice outside room and moved to an interior room after the first night because of the noise of the scooters on the streets. The interior courtyard is very nice and we had dinner out there one night under the stars (the Alfonso is a member of the Starwood group so you may be able to use miles for an upgrade or free nights). Enjoy.
