I'm glad to hear about L'Abbaye from others--hope to stay there sometime but have pretty much switched to flats for one week or longer. |
I just returned from a few days at the Abbaye(room #2). I have stayed there a number of times and love it. Request a "large" room. I paid €350 per night including breakfast.

Well, the thing that is so uncanny is that my sister called me this morning and asked me about my recent trip to Paris and we were talking about St. Sulpice and she mentioned L'Abbaye.
And then you mentioned it just now. There are a lot of uncanny things going on today at Fodor's. Telepathy is in the air. Thin |

The hotel website does not do justice to the hotel. The public rooms were all redone last year and are beautifully done. Wonderful fireplace in the salon that is stoked all day/night. Staff is the best, too. Room #2 has a small solarium off the bedroom. The bathrooms in the "large" rooms have been redone in marble. Great power showers... |
Oh, that sounds lovely. I just love the area around Jardin du Luxembourg and St. Sulpice. I like to go get a nice pastry at Gerard Mulot and then stare at the windows of Christain Lacroix.
