No need to apologize. MMHH, GRECE is the correct French spelling.

Strictly my opinion:
in Athens: all ancient ruins(including Parthenon and Agora) and the museum
near Athens: temple of Posidon at Cape Soumion (sp?)
outside of Athens:
Delphae (or Delfi depending on how your spell it)
Meteora - if you go that far north
Peloponese: Mycenae, Nauphlion, theatre at Epidavros

Take the boat from Pireus to the island of Aigina (there are several correct spellings) The kids will like the hydrofoil boat ride. On the island, visit the temple. Bus goes there from harbor. It's an easy day or full afternoon trip.

In my experience, the boat that goes to Aegina also goes to Hydra and Spetsae.

of course aigina (egina) has nice architecture, green and an ancient temple in very good condition, but hydra is soooo beautiful...

Must-sees: Acropolis and the National Museum in Athens (not sure if that's the right name for the museum...), Delphi, and Mycenae and the beehive tomb nearby. The theater at Epidauros is fantastic and I think it would be very enjoyable for young children as well. They will love testing the acoustics!

Aegina is gorgeous and was a real highlight of my trip to Greece. Haven't been to any other islands, though.

Happy Travels!
