Need to find shoes
 

Hey I've never posted anything on this website but I am in dire need of new shoes while in Rome I only landed here a few days ago but I only brought my converses, not realising how much walking I would be doing while I was here in Europe. I have gone into multiple shoe shops and have not found anything above a size 45 EU and I need size 49-50. If anyone can help me figure out where to buy some shoes it would be wonderful. Thanks for any help given.

I wear US size 14.

I have had good luck buying Mephisto shoes in large sizes, even in Italy.

But you won't find a lot of styles (or even any) without that luck.

They also are firm and take some breaking in.

Can you find some serious orthotic-type arch supports in a big pharmacy?

Online shopping works in Europe too and it may be easier when you have particular size requirements.
