Need to choose between Hilton London Islington and Hilton London Docklands
Hello,
I have points to use on my London Trip in March. Can anyone suggest which of these hotels would be best for a family of four (2 adults & 2 children). It would be either the Hilton London Islington or the Hilton London Docklands. The Docklands is a bit less on points. Any advise or comments is appreciated.
Thank you.

We stayed at the Hilton Hotel, Islington a few years ago, for 2 nights, and found the hotel to be very comfortable, and nice meals.
Its wonderfully situated in Islington, a great pub & restaurant/cafe area.
I was in Islington a few months ago, and went out for dinner to an Argentine Restaurant, great night, lots of various meats delivered to your table on skewers, where the waiters carves off heaps of meat. great night for carnivores.
I would recommend Islington over the Docklands area, mainly because of huge number of restaurants/pubs & evening entertainment.

If those are the only choices - it should be Islington. It is near Angel tube station. Docklands is at Rotherhite and quite far east.
Are you sure these are the only two you can get w/ your points? If so - then pick Islington . . . . .

Islington, defnitely. Docklands is less accessible, 90% business oriented and not particularly 'in' London - eg. if you wanted to grab a cab it would cost 2-3 times as much from central London to Docklands than to Islington.
