Need suggestions for Vienna with teenagers

Hi! We are planning to be in Vienna for a few days this summer. Can you suggest things to do that would appeal to boys aged 12 and 14?

In a city know for culture, I'm afraid we may be culture'd-out. Any and all suggestions for activities, restaurants, where to stay, etc., would be appreciated.

Operaman - I'm still looking at the apartments you suggested. Thank you!

Let me know if you need any further help with the apts. Prater amusement park is good for the kids, you can also rent bikes from Pedalpower and do a little cycling along the Danube.

The following maybe of some interest to your boys:

The Arms & Armour Collection at the New Imperial Palace:

If you go to Schoenbrunn Palace, do visit the Imperial Coach Museum:

Another vote for the Arms and Armour collection and Schoenbrun Palace. My boys were a little younger when we went, but they loved both places. Well, the Palace itself bored them - but they loved the garden maze. Also, the Natural History museum has a wonderful gem/mineral collection and lots of cool stuffed animals. There was also a special exhibit on the "Ice Man" that was found several years ago, but that may not be there anymore.
