Is it possible to buy any individual tickets in advance? Or does each ticket have to be used the same day it is sold?

Tickets don't have to be used the same day - just explain the ticket seller what you want to buy. You're buying from individuals, not from ticket machines.

Hello Everyone,

Just want to report back to everyone, we have wonderful stay
at Venice. We are even comtemplating retiring at Venice one
day. That is if we can afford it.

Everything went as planned. Thanks to all the comments and
suggestions provided by everyone here. It has been very
helpful deciding which form of transportation we end up taking
to get to our hotel. We took Alilaguna from the airport to
Hotel American Dinenses. By the way, we are very happy with
their services. The breakfast included was excellent and
staff were friendly and helpful. We are heading back to
the airport this morning.

About the only glitches we got was I thought the Venice
Museum Pass covered different museums than the ones covered
by the Museum of St. Mark's Square Plus. Actually we should
have just bought the Museum Pass. That would have covered
about 10 or 11 Civic Museums in Venice. The Museum of St.
Mark's Square Plus cover the 4 museums that other card already
covered.

Also, the Wi-Fi 7 days we bought for our iPhone was pretty
useless. I cannot get it connected even while riding on
Vaporatte on the Grand Canal. The free Wi-Fi we got at our
hotel was sufficient as I am filing this report here in
our hotel using my own laptop PC.

Overall, our experiences here at Venice was very plesant.
We are really happy and enjoy our stay here and hope to
return one day.
