need some advice on Europe
 

HI folks......34 year old outgoing male and wife are going to europe. We are thinking of Nice for four days and then florence. We like history but also like a clean, hip european city with culture. Any advice? WE are wide open to suggestions. (not london or stockholm, been there. Loved Stockholm)

Depending on your definition of "hip" (a nebulous term open to vast interpretation IMO) you'll certainly not lack for cultural opportunities in a city such as Florence. Don't suppose Paris could be anywhere in the mix could it?

Berlin fits the bill, I think.
