Need Reservation?
 

Hello,
My husband and I will be in Rome October 13 & 14. Do we really need advance reservations for the Borghese Gallery and if so, what is the safest and least expensive website to purchase our tickets?

Yes, you do need to pre-book. They are timed tickets.

You need to pre-book for timed tickets but I believe you can also queue at entry without reservations and wait in a line that could be long, depending on time of year. Or maybe janis is right - only pre-booked tickets allowed in but last time I was there a few years ago I waltzed into that museum in February without much of a wait but it could vary with tour buses, etc.

If you can get them pre-book if not try to just show up if you really want to see it.
