Need place to stay near Dublin Airport

Hi All!

I'm flying from Kerry airport on a Friday morning and will be flying out of Dublin Airport on Saturday back to the States. Therefore, I'm looking for a place to stay near the Dublin Airport for the night. Anyone have any suggestions for my wife and I for a near by town that has a few decent hotels or BBs. I don't want to stay in Dublin because we will be there in the begining of our trip.

Thanks,

Dave

I was going to recommend Bewley's hotel at the airport because it is close to the airport, good value and a nice hotel. But on rereading your original post it looks like you are looking for a place further away. Not sure when your flight is Saturday, but with the traffic in Dublin and the time in advance you need to be at the airport I would still recommend Bewleys.

Evergreen in Malahide. Only 10 min drive to airport and up the road from Malahide castle. Nice little downtown area as well.

It was one of our favorite B&B's in Ireland. The owners are wonderful

Another vote for Malahide, a very nice town, convenient to the airport. We stayed at Belcamp Hutchinson which is a lovely Manor House B&B near the castle.

The Hilton Dublin Airport has a free shuttle to/from airport and the run a free shuttle in the evening to Malahide. It takes guests to town ~7pm and picks them up ~10pm. The hotel is new, the rooms are very nice and usually it's affordable. I've stayed there 3 or 4 times on the nights before my flights home. Highly recommend.
