Need nice Paris room with balcony

Does anyone have a suggestion for a nice Paris hotel, where I can get a room with a balcony that has a nice view of the Eiffel Tower of Arc? I am willing to spend 400 Euros a night. I would prefer to stay in the 1st, 7th, 8th or 16 addr, near the Eiffel Tour or Arc. THANKS!

Most people will say "Hotel Brighton" in the first. Also look at Hotel Duquesne Eiffel in the 7th.

The Hotel de la Bourdonnais has views of the Eiffel Tower from some rooms. The balcony is small, but two people can stand on it. I think we had room 503, a quad room, with a direct view of the Tower. It was about $225 in June 2005. It's a nice hotel, not fancy, but well-kept, and in a great area of the 7th. The Avenue de la Boudonnais is a pretty tree-lined and relatively quiet street. There's a market next door, an ATM on the corner, and its near a metro. It's walking distance to the Tower and Les Invalides and Rue Cler, across from the Champs de Mars.

I have this hotel in my bookmarks as "near Trocadero, view of tower, balconies".

Hotel Metropole

The website is beautiful. Do some research, though. I haven't looking into it in quite a while.

The Westin (former Inter-Continental Castiglione) has some very nice rooms with balconies facing the Tuileries gardens -- and with an excellent view of the Eiffel Tower.

I just noticed you also asked about an Arc view. Friends of mine used to stay at the Napoleon Hotel. They loved it. I skimmed through trip advisor & found references to views of Arc/Eiffel from balconies and terraces.

Thanks everyone. I already have a panaromic view room booked at Hotel Napoleon, but the staff said only some of the rooms have balconies, and they can't guarantee one. Hence my question arises, and I am looking for something better.
All suggestions still welcome.

THANKS!

Have a look at www.parisperfect.com

Lots of apartments (gorgeous, really comfortable with many more than usual amenities...) with Tour Eiffel views from the balcony. We've stayed in Montrachet twice and will be staying there again next September.

Straight on views of Tour Eiffel from all windows. Awesome is enjoying the "sparkling" from the bed.

Bistro table for two on the balcony for enjoying breakfast, lunch, cocktails, coffee...and also fabulous views of the neighborhood.

Wonderful locations in the 7th (which we adore) convenient to metro and, especially, lots of bus routes to all over.

Also terrific is the food shopping, along with "take-away" all about. You can visit the spectacular markets all over and cook, or the amazing Picard, and there's the perfectly roasted chickens with those potatoes!

Also in the 7th, a plethora of moderately priced, wonderful food, restaurants, with very friendly service.

The Hilton Paris fits the bill. The King Delux rooms have private balconies with a great view of Tour Eiffel. The hotel is only two blocks from the Tower. These rooms are also very large, spotless and comfortable. And Hilton has fantastic beds! It's very quite at night and is in an easy location for many bus lines and the Bir Hakim station on the no.6 line. There are some really good restaurants in the vacinity. The Restaurant de la Tour, right around the corner, is a family bistro with great food. The Brasserie Suffren, 6 blocks from the hotel, is a real neighborhood brasserie where after 9pm it's filled with Parisians having a good time. There's a very good Thai restaurants near the metro station. The staff at the Hilton are what really makes this hotel special. Professional and friendly.

Great suggestion djkbooks...they have 5 apts. that look perfect. Unfortunately, they won'y rent them for less than 7 nights during holiday season. I think I am going to stick with my panaromic room at Hotel Napoleon.
