Need more help with Alhambra tickets, confused by site
I went on the alhambra-tickets site, but couldn't get past the time bands. The instructions were to chose my time band. There were 2 bands, a short gray band and a tall green band. The gray band had an 11 at the top and at the bottom said De 8:30 h a 14h while the tall green band had 1109 at the top and De 14h a 20h at the bottom. Can anyone interpret these for me? I'm trying to buy tickets for 5/20, upon the advice of those who responded to me other post, instead of waiting in a long line the day of my visit. Thanks!

Are you using the SeviCaixa website? I looked up May 20th and put in 2 tickets.
The grey band (AM) means it's not available.
The green band (PM) is for the afternoon session. If you click on the Green band, the next view you get is the actual "time slots" you can choose for the Nasrid Palace. I see time slots for 14:30 available, or 16:30 and after. (Green bands means available).
I clicked on the 14:30 and hit continue, continue. The next page is the payment page.

The green band number at the top refers to the number of tickets still available. The 14h a 20h at the bottom means the time period of the afternoon session. You enter the complex at 2 and the complex closes at 8 pm.

Hi Moraben,
Here's an article from a site I really like that may help.
http://tinyurl.com/qsv4cr
They also have a tour of the Alhambra for your MP3 player.
Hope it helps.

moraben,
Since you'll be staying downtown, just take the 30 or 32 red minibus, Alhambrabus, to reach very easily the Alhambra Access Pavilion.
It's a time-consuming and steep walk up the Cuesta de Gomérez to the entrance and even longer and steeper via the Cuesta de los Chinos to the entrance.
If you want to tour the Albaicín quarter after your visit, for the sunset view of the Alhambra complex, at the Mirador de San Nicolás (but watch your wallet)...
after your afternoon Alhambra tour you can walk DOWN the Cuesta de los Chinos, alohg the ramparts, which will take you directly down to the Paseo de los Tristes along with river.
From there you can walk up to the Albaicín, Arab quarter, via the Cuesta del Chapiz.
Or... the red minibus 32 makes a loop from Alhambra to Plaza Nueva downtown and then through the Albaicín-
It's all in my guide.

Congrats! Enjoy your visit!
How did I ever travel before this site???
I asked myself that too. Just be glad that you won't have to get up at 6am on May 20 to line up for your Alhambra ticket!
