Need London Hotel Recommendation
Looking for something that is about 4 stars, we like 4 seasons, we like boutique hotels too! Any recommendtions. We are there for 3 nights in July and looking to be close to a lot of things to to do! Any recommendations! Hate hotels that are too fancy, edwardian.

You'd love Blakes then! In South kensington just down from the Natural history Museum, V&A and close to transport. Magic 4 posters and no two rooms alike!
Take a look at my site for a little review and information! http://www.mcdougalladventures.com/e...n-blakes-hotel |
luckykat - Just read your blog and yes you are a lucky kat! Just looking at your entries (Aman resorts, good NYC restaurants) how do you get the time & money? : )

Most of the hotels listed on tablethotels.com would fit the bill. They have a nice map of hotels and sites too.

sinnedgh...two words....consultancy slaves! My husband is a marketing consultant and I've only just escaped being a technology consultant! Pays well but they extract the value in blood!! I swear! We have to run away to all these places to stay sane!! (oh, and we got lucky on the Aman resort..they had a half price deal...otherwise we would have been sleeping on the beach!) ;-)

I stayed at the Chesterfield Mayfair based on reviews at Tripadvisor.
The hotel was perfect in every possible way. liz |
I like My Hotel in Chelsea; love that location; it is a bit more residential, behind the Conran shop on Brompton Cross. Short walk to South Kensington station. It's modern, quiet and they have great beds.
