need Itinerary for trip to France, Switz and Italy from Dublin

Hi All,

Me and my husband are planning for a holiday to France, Switz and Italy on a 9 day/night trip starting from Dublin in the month of may. Mostly the planned start date is 14th of May.

Need suggestions on itinerary, cities to visit and things to do.

We will be on Budget travel.

Eagerly awaiting for responses.

Regards,
Praveena

If you want someone to plan an itinerary for you, you'll have to hire a travel agent. People here are just volunteers who will help you with your plans, ONCE you have actually made them. But to get you started, 3 separate countries in 9 days is very unrealistic.

For things to do and cities to visit, you need guidebooks, maps, and the internet. I would suggest you start in on this right away, as May is right around the corner.

It's really up to you to choose the 3 cities (1 in France, 1 in Switzerland and 1 in Italy) you plan to visit.

You could do three cities (quite rushed but definitely doable) in nine days. But you only mention three countries. It really isn't possible for us to give useful advice, since each of those countries has several cities you might want to visit.

Where do you want to go -- you picked those countries so you probably have some ideas of what you want to see/do.

Three different countries is doable for some people, but for me would be unrealistic. The very best, optimistic scenario is a half-day of transit for each change. That only leaves eight days for three cities...not very much.

If I had nine days, I'd do:

Fly into Paris
4.5 days Paris
0.5 days fly to Rome
4 days Rome (with maybe a Florence day-trip)
Fly our of Rome
