Need Help With Swiss Travel Pass Calculus
 

Hi everyone,

We're going to be in Weggis (right next to Lucerne) for 3 days in June and are trying to decide if a 3-day Swiss Travel pass (https://www.sbb.ch/de/freizeit-ferie...avel-pass.html) is worth it for us. Basically we're unsure what it will "work" for.

Here's our plan:

1) Day trip to sightsee in Lucerne (plan on using https://www.lakelucerne.ch/en/your-c...is-to-lucerne/)
2) Night visit to Lucerne (https://www.lakelucerne.ch/en/your-c...is-to-lucerne/)
3) Trip up to Mt Rigi on cable cars
4) Day trip to Bern OR Zurich

And, yes, I've done research and have even looked in old threads and all of the different fare options and discount cards are a bit overwhelming. :)

How will you reach Weggis and where will you go afterwards?
A full fare RT ticket from Weggis will cost 53 CHF up to Rigi Kaltbad and 72 CHF up to Rigi Kulm.
Weggis - Lucerne full fare costs 41 CHF/RT
Both are free with the Swiss Travel Pass and with the Tell Pass
