Is 4 days enough time to see Munich and Bavaria?

Also, does anyone know what is the best way to travel between Munich and Florence?

No. Like ten days is not enough to see Rome. But can you leave Munich/Bavaria with a feeling that you have seen a lot? Well, sure.

3 or more, sharing - - if there is any chance you are going back to Germany, probably car.

Yes and No,

4 days is probably a good amount of time to get a feel for Munich and the surrounding areas but I doubt you be able to get to see much of Bavaria outside of the Munich Area. My tip: spend 5 days in Bavaria, 3 in Munich and its suburbs, try to visit Lake Stanrnberg or Dachau both of which are easy to reach with public transport
Spend the two remaining in other parts of Southern Bavaria: choose a smaller city nearby to spend at least a day in.
I recommend Bad Tolz because it a gorgeous town and realitively close to Munich.
You could spend the remaining day in the Cheimsee (lake)area, it is surrounded by lovely towns and one of the 3 castles from Ludwig II lies in the middle of the lake. Another recomendation for the two days outside of Munich would be to spend the time on Bodensee/Lake Constance a large Alpine lake on the Swiss-Austrian-German border with wonderful architecture.

You could spend 2 days in Munich, one in Garmisch and Mittenwald and one in Oberstdorf. There's a lot to see and do around here so you could easily stay entertained for longer. There's an overnight train to Florence which is easy.
