Need help with London-Paris-Amsterdam itinerary for family

Hello all,

We have booked our flights into London and out of Amsterday for me, my wife, and our 10-year old son for mid to end of June.

I'm trying to figure out how to split the trip into those 3 cities and would love your help.

We arrive in LONDON on a MONDAY at 2pm.
We depart AMSTERDAM 2 weeks later on a FRIDAY at 11am.

With our 10-year old, we plan on hitting about one museum per day and only the major attractions. We want to take it easy, not over do it.

My wife and I have both been to Paris.

Current plan is this, but I'd like to know if we should spend less time in London and more in Amsterdam at the end:

Monday: Arrive London around 2pm
Tuesday: London
Wednesday: London
Thursday: London
Friday: Train to Paris mid-day
Saturday: Paris
Sunday: Paris
Monday: Paris
Tuesday: High Speed Train to Amsterdam (about 3.5 hours trip), getting in mid afternoon
Wednesday: Amsterdam
Thursday: Amsterdam
Friday: Fly back to US at 11am

THANK YOU in advance for taking the time to help

Pablo

Nope - in fact I think you should spend more time in London. First of all day 1 is pretty much a non starter since you likely won't even get to your hotel til 4 or 5 PM, and Friday is shot since you need to check out and be at St Pancras about an hour ahead of time. So as it is you only have 3 full days for London. Second - you'll be jet lagged at the beginning so the first day or two will be a slog. And finally - London is ENORMOUS with just masses of things for families to see/do.

I think you've done pretty wells with the time you have and having made the reservations. You don't hear that often on these boards!! LOL Janis may have a point--maybe leaving later to go to Paris would give you a bit more time in London and taking a late train to Amsterdam.

Legoland may tend a bit young for your son. It is really geared to little ones -- but I do know older kids (and a few adults ) who are REALLy into legos
