Need help with Italian reservation response

I sent in a request to www.palazzogambaflorence.com looking to see if the 2 bed room suite or the penthouse suite (3-bed room) is available for specific days in December. The reply came back that the "trilocale" was available. Each time that I send an email to their address requesting add'l info it comes back from their server saying that it my email was identified as SPAM and it wouldn't go through. I'm hoping that the "tri" in trilocale is meaning the 3 bedroom. Can anyone tell?

Hi sandi,

I think that you have a bigger problem. Your requests aren't getting through.

I suggest that you phone or fax them.

they sent me an email that has an "accept" "reject" or "change" button so I can automatically accept the reservation. I just can't tell what I'm accepting or rejecting.

I've never heard "trilocale" used to mean a three-person room, but "locale" can mean "room" and "tri" definitely means "three," so I think you're safe. But to be sure, I'd call.

StCirq- would trilocale make more sense if it was a 3 room suite and not a 3 person room?

sandi: I honestly don't know - do you know if the hotel HAS a three-room suite?
I really think I'd pick up the phone and call them.

Sandi - 'tri-locale' does mean a 3-room suite.

I'd also call, because your emails aren't getting through.

Thanks for the response. I know that the hotel has a 3-room suite they call the penthouse. I was trying to find out if it was available. I will try to call them.

I think it's a 3-room apartment or suite. It's not a room with 3 beds.
