Need help with FS web site
First of all, is the search engine here not working again? I know this topic has been addressed in previous posts, but the search engine doesn't work!

Anyway, I wanted to get some Italian train schedules from the FS web site, but no matter what variation of station name I plug in, I get a message that it is incorrect. e.g., for Florence I typed in
Firenze
Firenze S.M. Novella
S.M. Novella
None were correct!

Anyone have any hints? The other stations I'm looking for are Rome Termini and Napoli Centrale. Thanks!

I just tried it using roma to firenze and roma to napoli for tomorrow at 0600 and the timetables came right-up. Regards, Walter
Are you putting in a date after June 9? The posted schedule is valid only until that date, and you get an error message if you try for any date after that.

I too have no problem with "napoli", "roma", or "firenze" ...
as long as I stay at or earlier than June 9th. I'm sure your problem is date rather than station name.

You can find schedules, but not fares, for Italian trains later than June 9 at the Austrian web site,

http://www.oebb.at
