need help to pick a Paris hotel
Planning a trip to Paris in early November. I narrowed down my search to 3 hotels, Hotel des Saints Peres, Hotel Lenox (7th) and Hotel Central St. Germain. Did anyone stay in any of these hotels?? Need help!

If cost is not the critical deciding factor, I would choose the hotel in the St. Germain area.

Haven't stayed at these but could offer some comments:
Lenox St Germain - good metro connections, close to the Seine, popular area for other quality hotels, cafés, shopping; easy walk to d'Orsay, Louvre, St Sulpice des Saints Peres - similar comments as to Lenox; I believe a regular poster on Fodors stays here Central St Germain - I think this area is more congested than the above - hotel is across from Jardin de Luxembourg which is very nice, near Musée Cluny, walkable to Notre Dame. Sounds like it's a fine toss-up and any of them would do. Tripadvisor comments are nearly all favorable. I'd probably prefer the first two, for the local amenities. What's the best price? |
THANKS FOR THE INPUTS. THE BEST PRICE IS CENTRAL ST. GERMAIN, BUT I ALSO THOUGHT THE FIRST 2 WOULD BE BETTER. STS PERES AND LENOX ARE THE SAME PRICE, 150EUROS

Yes, I would also choose either the Sts. Peres or the Lenox St. Germain. BTW, the Lenox has a small bar inside the hotel-seems to be a popular place with locals I read.
Central St. Germain is like a budget type hotel doesn't seem appealing as the other two choices in my opinion. Don't like the location as much too. |
