Need help planning trip to Vienna/Czech/Hungary

I will be in Vienna for a week in February (for work), then will have 5-6 days afterwards to travel. I hope to visit some combination of Budapest, Prague, Bratislava, and Krakow. As this is my first time to any of these, I would appreciate any thoughts or recommendations, including info on Danube river travel.

Thanks in advance for replies.

With 5-6 days, I'd choose to Budapest and Prague. There isn't enough time for the others, considering travel time between cities. You'll get frustrated and tired trying to do Bratslavia and Krakow, too, and won't see enough of any of the cities.

You can't go wrong with Vienna, Prague and Budapest. All are wonderful cities. Have a great trip!

Bratislava makes a good day trip from Vienna, but I'd personally rather spend the time in Prague, Krakow or Budapest (I have not been to those three but really want to). I loved Vienna, so if you don't have much time to explore it with your work you may want to just stay there.
