I'm doing a travel trip in English and I need help!!!
I need to know the cheapest way to get from London to Cantabury and I need advise for hotels. I have only 2000 dollars to spend. I also need to know cheap places to eat also.

Thanks

For train info, try:
www.britrail.com

I think the bus site is:
www.nationalexpress.com

Type Canterbury in the search box, you'll find some information there.

Hi J,

I think that the most helpful advice I can give you is to learn how to spell "Canterbury". :)

How long is this visit that you have "only" $2000?

You can find accomodations if you enter "hotel Canterbury" at www.google.com.

My own preference would be find a group of interesting people, who have stories to tell, and take a leisurely bus tour.

You could start from the Tabard Inn in Southwark.

PS,

A 2cl ticket is about $60 each way.

See www.railsaver.com

It takes about 1:30 hr these days.

PPS,

A motor route can be found at www.viamichelin.com

It's only 60 miles.

How long will this trip be?

And, if you don't mind my asking, how old are you, Brittany?

Hi M,

>How long will this trip be?<

I suppose it should take at least long enough to tell 12 stories.
