Need help from Paris

I am in Paris with my DD and it turns out that her hair straightner does not work and she is desperate to get another one.

Can anyone tell me where I can buy an inexpensive one? We are in the 5th but location doesn't matter as long as we can get there near the metro.

By the way, it's snowing and beautiful in Paris. The snow is coming down steadily in heavy flakes and is staying on the ground. The trees and rooftops are covered and it looks like something out of a fairy tale.

Off to Versailles.....

Darty has stores all over Paris, including one in the Forum des Halles -- open today.

If Paris is as cold as the UK, a hat might be the solution.

Ha ha. "Hat might be the solution!". I agree completely but DD doesn't agree. We bought a hat today but well check out the suggestions tomorrow.

Yes, it is cold. This morning was snowy and slushy but the slush was gone by the evening.

Thanks for the suggestions.
