Need Help finding fun things to do in Spain

Hi I am a 20 year old college student looking to having a fun time in spain this upcoming summer in May for around three weeks, I would like to sight see, but I also want to party, I plan on going to Ibiza but would like to get the input on other young or old travelers

go to Benidorm for the party of your life - that town is all young Brits on holiday raising heck and getting pissed. Not far from Alicante - legendary Benidorm.

Also has a really nice beach and lots of pubs - more pubs I bet than any other city in Europe for its size.

I thought you were a Yank but I was just characterizing Bendiorm's crowd - which may or may not appeal to you but if you want folks speaking English while partying...

The Torremolinos area is one of the most popular beach resorts in Europe - a multi-national crowd descends on it every summer.

Ibiza would be the right spot. Just that (early) May may be a little early for the major clubbing crowds. The bars/clubs etc are all already open in May, and frequented. But the island is still not in full gear. The later in May you can go, the better.

I don't think that Benidorm or Torremolinos are even remotely in the same class as Ibiza - when it comes to clubbing.

But neither location is really too exciting to spend full 3 weeks there. You could combine some time in Barcelona with a week or so in Ibiza.

Don't think you have been to Benidorm - clubs everywhere and that's all the British Lager Louts seem to do - pubs in day and clubs at night.

Head into numerous Spanish towns at weekends and you have wonderful nightlife - Pamplona, Malaga, Seville, Vittoria, Barcelona, Valencia are just some that come to mind,

Serious clubbing in Ibiza in places like Pacha and Space will cost upwards of €40 to get in and €12 for a drink, but you will be dancing with Russian supermodels. Try to get to Formentera from Ibiza.

Benidorm and Torremolinos - you must be joking - just because they're popular doesn't mean you should go there.

I want to travel all over spain so not planning on spending a week in any same spot how is the cheapest/best way to travel,

Get a Spain Pass from Renfe or take the bus.

cheapest way for young or old now to travel is Spain is through carpling.. ride sharing. people sell space n their cars on trips and ti is very reasonable and so far really good reviews. many people study or work back and forth between the cities and to compensate for our gas prices are now sharing travel costs.

drivers are rated on the site . This or something similar exists across Europe, too.

If I were you I would definitely put Barcelona on the itinerary- lots of amazing sights to see but also a more authentic culture to have fun with if you don't want to be too touristy. I live here as a student and the party scene is great- not just mainstream clubs but great bars and music venues. If you are looking for fun things to do as well which are a bit different, I would do some googling to find some authentic local led activity to get a more 'real' experience of the culture
