Need help finding a website in Vence de Provence with little info

A co-worker would asked if I could visit a shop in Vence and send her the web-site address. She coesn't know the name of the shop but has directions to find it . Problem is, I will not be there until April and she wants it sooner than that. It is a fabric shop located in a square that is just off the main square next to the "famous fountain." That is all I know - she said that when she was there a year ago, they said they were creating a web site and she want to order some tablecloths. I thought that perhaps someone on this site might know the place and be able to help.

Do you mean Vence or St-Paul-de-Vence. The latter has a fountain next to some steps off a square. If the shop is at the end of a row of shops I think I know which one she means.

I don't know Vence, but www.google.fr comes up with this when you plug in Vence magasin tissus:

Thanks adrienne, I checked with my colleague and she says she is sure it was Vence. She just showed me a picture of the fountain and it did not look like a free standing fountain, but one flat against a wall.

Would google earth help? Or Pages Jaunes?

I frankly do not take much stock in co-workers' requests. I always tell them that I will do what I find to be convenient, but I won't go out of the way on special request searches.

no such thing as a tablecloth emergency, I think your coworker is pretty nervy and I'd stop working for her

I would call the local Tourist Office. They'll know every shop in town. Plus, they'll speak English. Good luck!
:)

Just to set thing straight, my co-worker and I have collaborated closely on many projects over the years. She knows that I really do not mind, just as she would not mind if I made a similar request of her. Since I have this great network here and she has often heard me speak of all the travel knowledge I have picked up on this forum, I was the logical one to ask.
