Where can I buy these loafer socks, I looked for the others at Target and they had never heard of them. Help, the time is getting short! I do like the look of no socks too.
|
Odor eaters insoles work like a charm. And they're comfy! I've got them in all my closed-toed shoes.
|
I'm surprised that you couldn't find loafer socks at Target. They've been very popular for a couple of years. Mindy, if you live in a climate where everyone else rarely wears socks and just wears flip flops, perhaps your Target just isn't stocked with items that are more suitable for cooler climates, and you'll be able to find these socks at your destination. Instant souvenir!

I'm also surprised you didn't see loafer socks at Target. They'd be in the hoisery department, and "Peds" is one of the brands (though I've seen others as well.) They come in black, white, and sometimes beige. Sometimes called "footies", maybe that will ring a bell? Certain styles some in SIZES, unlike most socks, so make sure you get the size that is right for you.

As I mentioned above, I've also seen them at Gap, Limited, Macy's and other locations. I'm sure you can find them somewhere in your area. If desparate, you could order them:

http://www.onehanesplace.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ExecMacro/product/product.d2w/report?style=106911&sourceid=00282341495284710462& ENTRY_TAG=BEFREE

http://www.footsmart.com/cgi-bin/sgi...05&PID=1087313

(Both with photos, so you can see what they look like!)

Thanks again everyone, I will look at these web sites and try another Target and Macys too. The people of Europe that I will be walking by thank you, LOL.
|
Well, I got them! I like the L'eggs brand the best, they are cut a little bit lower on the foot. I got them at a grocery store (Ralphs). But I also went to another Target for some peds. Now I am bouncing around in my walking shoes, they really are comfortable now.
And my feet smell like roses from the rose talc I bought!
Thanks.
|
Yay, Mindy! Feet that are sweet, comfy and dry will make a *huge* difference for your trip. You will also be glad you've got two pair of shoes to switch between.

Happy walking!
|
Hi Mindy
So glad you received the help you asked for! Except...do not use powder with talc. There is a link between talc and cancer. There are other powders to choose from that do not contain talc.
|
What? I was so happy. I hadn't heard that about talc. My gosh, back to the mall I suppose. Do the containers say whether they have talc? Do you mean all TALCum powders? I bought the Gold Bond powder too.
|
Mindy
Yes, you can read the labels and it will say if it contains talc. One of the reasons baby powder is no longer recommended to use on babies because of the talc. Talc is a mineral. If you want to read up on it, just use Google and type in talcum powder and you will pull up lots of info.
