Need Help chosing Tours in Prague
Trying to chose the best tours of Prague....reading about city tours including the castle, river tours at night, river tours in the day, folklore music tours including dinners, Jewish town tours etc., also bus tours to surrounding towns... HELP. I would appreciate your advice to make the best of our 4 days in Prague. Thank you! Marcie

We went to the tour stop near the Opera Hall and had a nice half-day tour of the city--although they skipped the Jewish area because of some problem. You can get tickets there as well for day bus tours of other towns but only April-October. Some of the others you can do on your own, although we did not do the river tour.

On http://www.jasoncholt.com/prague you will find a great practical guide to Prague. There are two tour companies with a good reputation, Martin and Best. You'll find links on the "Bits and Pieces" page. The city tour is a bit rushed but, it'll give you an idea of where to go back. There is no Jewish Town, only Josefov which contains the cemetary and you can go there on your own. For outside of Prague try http://www.prague-airport-shuttle.com It's not a guide service but, it is an excellent transport service.

Jason
