Need help choosing 2-3 quaint islands
 

Hi, we’ll be going on a cruise to some of the more popular Greek Isles (Santorini, Rhodes, Mykonos) in October. We have 7 additional nights (some before and some after the cruise which originates in Athens) to explore some other quieter, less touristy islands. What are your island recommendations and how long should we stay on each one? Night life isn’t important to us, but natural beauty, easy hikes, and great food are.

I wouldn't describe any of the Greek islands I've visited as quaint. We liked Folegandros and Naxos. There were tourists there, like us, but perhaps not as busy as other islands. Hydra was fairly quiet but that was at the end of the season. No vehicles on Hydra, walking or donkeys, so that made it more restful. I don't like rushing around so I'd book 3 nights minimum but it's not my trip (wish it was!).
