Need ferrry info from Positano to Capri
 

Hi,
I'll be in Positano in late October and would like to do a day trip to Capri. Can anyone tell me when the ferry times are? I know there's only 2 per day. If you have the link to the ferry website I'd appreciate it too. Thanks!

Sammy...forget the web site, it is never accurate...when you get to positano, down on the beach there are three kiosks by the concrete docking area. Ask them what time the first boat of the day goes to Capri..it's the morning trip and the ride itself is a scenic one..only takes a small number of passengers. Then find out what time the last boat from Capri to Positano is (late afternoon) , and be sure you're at the Capri harbor on time. Enjoy your day on the island. It can be rough sailing at times.

These services are seasonal, and late October is at the end of the season. Sailings will depend on how many tourists are around and on the weather. If trade is poor, boats will finish their seasons early. They do not run to precise timetables like train services. When you get to Positano, find out what is available; if there are no suitable services from Positano, there are year-round services from Sorrento to Capri.
