I looked up some of those hotels and they're not in Venice proper but on Lido Island or the mainland. If you're going to Venice you want to stay in Venice.

If you mean really cheap accommodation, I suggest that you google "hostels Venice" and check out the results. My son stayed in one in Cannareggio and it was fine, private rooms, kitchen, laundry, etc.

You'd have much better luck getting replies if you repost this request tagged for Italy, not the UK.
