Need B&B advice in Cornwall or Devon

Hi, <BR>We're spending a weekend in either Cornwall or Devon in mid-July. Does anyone have recommendations on some really good B&B's? <BR>Thanks <BR>Marcia

Hi, Marcia, <BR>The Automobile Association (AA) maintains a list of B&Bs and other accommodations at http://www.theaa.co.uk/hotels/index.asp. <BR>Their rankings are usually pretty reliable. Happy hunting!

We enjoyed our stay at Enny's Farm in St. Hilary near Penzance. It is a quality, farmhouse B&B in a nice rural setting about 5 miles from Penzance <BR> <BR>For more info, go to: <BR> <BR>http://www.theaa.co.uk/region14/43063.html <BR> <BR> <BR>

If you decide on East Devon try Old Symes in the village of Kilmington. Lovely position, two local pubs you can walk to and fairly close to places like Lyme Regis, Sidmouth,Seaton and Branscombe. Email me if you want the address

Stayed several (3) years ago at the <BR>Boscean Country Hotel in St. Just. Great feel for British life. We were <BR>only americans there everyone else came <BR>back every year. Great dinners also <BR>available. Close to everything in Corn- <BR>wall and good walking in the area. <BR> Just got back from six weeks in Wales, <BR>Lake District, Yorkshire and Scotland. <BR>Have a wonderful trip.

I highly recommend the Abbey Hotel in Penzance. The rooms were wonderful and the food terrific. We looked forward to our evenings sitting in the garden with the view of the harbor. The food was wonderful but we also had a chance to enjoy a couple of meals at the nearby Turks Head, one of the oldest pubs in the area. Penzance is a wonderful "base" for exploring the area.
