Need an agent - 15 Days in Spain
 

Hi everyone. My sister and I are going to Spain for 15 days in August. We want to go to Barcelona, Ibiza, Sevilla, Cordoba, and Granada. I've never planned a trip with so many flights involved, so I was wondering if anyone knows of a good travel agent (preferably one in Spain) who could help me. Thanks!

I don't know about travel agents, but last summer I took flights from Barcelona to Ibiza, Ibiza to Madrid and Madrid to Lisbon on Vueling Airlines for ridiculously low prices.

I started working with Madrid and Beyond for my trip in September, but was encouraged by the group on this board to just go ahead and plan it myself. And they were right, it's really easy if you've got the time to do a little research. We've got all of our flights, rental car, hotels and train tickets set up already!

Five cities in 15 days seems a bit much, but it can be done if planned properly. Ibiza in August will be packed with non-Spaniards and hotel accommodations will be scarce.

You've also picked the hottest time of the year to be visiting Sevilla, Cordoba and Granada, so you should make sure that your hotel is air-conditioned.

I know people like to plan their own holidays, but when traveling to an area you've never been to before, it's always wise to consider working with someone who is familiar with what needs to be done. There are a number of excellent Spain specialists you can work with, but expect to pay a fee for their services.
