Need advice - Skopje or Sofia?
 

Hey! We are a brother and sister going on a trip in a couple of weeks. And having trouble deciding which country t visit. Both seems great and is a bit the same of for flight and hotel prices. We will be staying for about 4 nights.

Our main goal of the trip is: Shopping, Eating good (luxury on the buck), going to pubs and enjoy the local night out, some activities such as monuments, churches or historical buildings

So could any one give some advice that could help me decide. The cheaper it is to live the better since our money will last longer ;)

Given your list of interests I have no idea why you picked those two cities. I have been to both, and they are not places I would pick for shopping, eating or pubs. It sounds like you should be looking at London or Paris. Or if you want somewhere cheaper perhaps Lisbon or Budapest. Not that Skopje and Sofia are not interesting, but not for the reasons you list.
