LOL, well first you would have to actually believe there are only 10 places in Veyey to stay. Then you would have to believe you must stay in Vevey, that somewhere 5 minutes down the train track like Montreux wouldn't do just as well. Or somewhere 5 minutes drive away in say Corseaux or Corsier-sur-Vevey.

It takes incredible belief that you have found everything possible in the Vevey area to make a statement like you have joanw. But to suggest you will be forced to share a bath is beyond belief.

Then you would have to believe you must stay in Vevey>

why not stay in the cheapest place you can find say within 100 miles or so - what's a few extra miles.

No Vevey is exceptional - if you have been there and Montreux you may find why folks may want to pay a bit more to stay in this - to me the cutest city on Lac LeMan.

Vevey is worth the extra effort IMO.
