I know that this is an antiquated thread, but I discovered a great B and B in Cranbrook (pretty little town near Sissinghurst) which is newly opened and I am sure the owners Joe and David would like some free marketing from me in return for the fabulous hospitality they showed me! Their house is on the edge of the churchyard and its a gem - full of historic charcter (beams and inglenooks) and nicely furnished and very very comfortable and also very relaxed - no rules and regulations. It would be perfect for a winter break too with a roaring log fire blazing away all day!
