Need advice for this drive
 

Hi,

It is our first time driving in Italy. We will be in Le Marche, near Urbania, for 5 nights at an aguritisimo. We then are traveling to Bassano del Grappa for two nights before flying out of Venice. We need to decide if we want to (a) drive from Le Marche (4.5 hours) or return our car in Rimini (1.5 hours) and take a 4 hour train ride with 2 changes.

It will be very early on a Sunday morning so I assume less traffic. The drive is mostly autostrada up to Bologna --> Padua --> Bassano but looks awfully boring.

We are heading to Bassano because I studied abroad there 10 years ago. Not the closest combination (Le Marche and Veneto) for a short trip... but its a unique trip :)

Any advice for drive or train? We don't neeeed the car in Bassano, but it would allow us to get there earlier that Sunday.
